Bonhomme à lunettes

Have you heard about our amazing 3 for 1 special? Or about our super summer sales? Or about our flash sale of up to 50%? Or about our Black Friday super deals?

No? Never? Well, there's a reason for that:

All our frames are the same price

When Philippe Rochette founded Bonhomme à lunettes, he had the good idea to model the prices on the social assistance reimbursement charter for all customers, regardless of income. So, rather than offering seasonal discounts or 2-for-1 or 3-for-1 sales, we chose to focus on accessibility. We have no sales targets. The only objective we have is to meet your needs while taking your means into account.

Our way to fight inflation

Did you know our starting prices have been the same for 15 years? You read that right, a frame costing $69 in 2007 still costs the same price in 2022. Same thing for lenses. Our 2007 options are still at the same price.consumer price index continues to rise, it's something that deserves to be reminded.

How do we do it? We explain it in this other blog article, but our business model based on simplicity has always been the same and the mission has not changed: to make the purchase of glasses accessible to everyone. Is giving a discount after a raise still a discount? We are not savvy enough in finance to answer this question unequivocally. But what we know beyond a doubt is that while just about anything goes up, you can shop with us knowing we're doing everything we can to give you the best value.

Rather than proposing extraordinary sales, we prefer to meet your needs and give you your money's worth. It is by working with humanism and a lot of flexibility that we have become a reference for more than 200 community organizations.

We just see ourselves more as a safety net than a big sales machine.
