Here's what you need to know about how we work:
1_ GET YOUR EYES EXAMINED BY AN OPTOMETRIST
Unfortunately, as opticians, we don't do eye exams.
An optician is basically the pharmacist or glasses. We get to work once we get your prescription. That’s why the first step is to get your eyes examined by an optometrist (any optometrist will do). Their code of ethics (Section 3 – Freedom of choice) states that, if you ask for it, they must give you a copy of your prescription.
With a Medicare card, the basic exam is free for children 17 and under as well as for adults over 65. Eye exams might also be covered by your insurance. More details in our FAQ section.
2_ VISIT ONE OF OUR SERVICES POINTS
We have more than 70 service points.
We make weekly stops at a number of community organizations in Montreal and its surrounding areas. Check out our schedule and go to the one that suits you best. Please note that some service points, such as our headquarters Les Portes Orange, are by appointment only!
3_ CHOOSE YOUR FRAMES AND LENSES
We can handle ALL prescriptions and offer ALL the options.
We also have a wide selection of frames for men, women, and children.

4_ PICK UP & GUARANTEES
We offer reliable guarantees on top of our famous Bad Luck Special.
Allow us around three weeks to get the laboratory work done and your glasses delivered to us. As soon as the glasses are ready and inspected, we'll call you.

Insurance receipts are issued at the time of purchase. They are accepted by all insurers in Quebec.
