Residents of the Plateau now have a new way to save money! We are pleased to announce that we're teaming up with Resto Plateau to provide a second service location in the borough. This new service point not only allows us to comfortably exceed the 80 service point mark, it also serves as an excellent example of our commitment to offering not only affordable eyewear, but also a local service.
Resto Plateau is Right Next to the Mont-Royal Station

Our New Partner in the Plateau Area
Resto Plateau is a nonprofit organization that has been firmly established in the neighborhood since 1992. It plays a key role in the social economy by offering both a community restaurant, food services, and a social and professional integration program. In particular, the organization provides complete, nutritious meals at prices adjusted according to ability to pay, while offering a welcoming environment where people can meet and break out of isolation. At the same time, its integration program allows workers to gain practical experience in the kitchen.
Resto Plateau’s community mission is centered on combating food insecurity and social exclusion. The organization aims to promote self-reliance and inclusion by providing access to essential resources, including affordable meals and support services. It also serves as a welcoming space for sharing, where people in vulnerable situations can find a listening ear, referrals, and guidance. By developing partnerships with other local organizations (including Le Bonhomme à lunettes), Resto Plateau actively contributes to strengthening the social fabric and improving living conditions for the community of Plateau-Mont-Royal and the surrounding area.
With about 30 points de service sur l’ile de Montréal, we now have a presence in nearly every borough of the city. With our main location in Mile End and this new partnership, residents of Plateau-Mont-Royal will be better served than ever and will be able to save big on an essential purchase!
