When Bonhomme à lunettes was created in 2007, the goal was simple: make glasses accessible to all. By keeping operating costs to a minimum and avoiding luxury brands, we have been able to offer tens of thousands of people significant savings over the years. Thanks to word of mouth, the popularity of our service has grown to the point where we have been able to open points of service throughout southern Quebec, including Granby in the Eastern Townships.
That's when we are able to start collaborating with Centre d’action bénévole de Granby, a flagship community organization in the region founded in 1967. Success came soon after as even in the first few weeks, dozens and dozens of customers came to take advantage of our affordable prices, our sound advice and our excellent customer service.
Since then, we've been visting Notre-Dame street every Tuesday from 9.30am to 4pm. All you have to do is make an appointment and bring your prescription. We take care of the rest. Customers in Granby and surrounding areas can tell you: our prices are worth the detour, without sacrificing quality or service.
Other options for you to save
In addition to our weekly stop in the Eastern Townships, we also have a few other service points nearby, including Saint-Hyacinthe every Wednesday morning and for people a little bit more north, Drunmondville every Friday mornings. For people in Sherbrooke, a sevice inspired by what we do is available in the area.
Seeing clearly is not a luxury. When everything else goes up, it's comforting to know you can save on an essential purchase from an optician who not only has been in business for 15 years, but hasn't raised their base prices in 15 years.
